The Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild (CCQG) is a non-profit organization of quilters in eastern North Carolina dedicated to making a productive and creative environment for all who are interested in quilting and to provide education by teaching, offering workshops and sharing information concerning all aspects of quilting. Since 1984, our CCQG membership has included members from several counties near Morehead City, as well as out-of-state.
Annually, CCQG members make an opportunity quilt which is raffled off to the public and the proceeds are used to support local community charitable projects. “Kids Quilts,” made by members, are donated to entities serving children. “Hero Quilts” are given to service men and women as a token of our profound appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
CCQG is committed to the education of our members through:
- community service projects,
- drop-in sewing,
- lectures,
- library,
- monthly programs,
- raffle quilts,
- special quilt exhibits, and
- workshops.
