"Coastal Blooms" looks like a springtime flower garden in full bloom. The contemporary fabrics and yellow background update this traditional nosegay block. This 2024 raffle quilt was inspired by our Guild's 40th Anniversary. We searched for an old pattern that could be given an updated look and chose the block, "Brides Bouquet" designed by Eleanor Burns from her Quilt in a Day Victory Quilt series. The quilt was created using fabrics from multiple stashes or fabric collections. Many guild members participated in constructing the blocks, and the committee decided on the final design. Surface design quilting is the Baptist Fan pattern, and it was quilted by Katherine Haleen at Village Quilt Shop (Quilt Lizzy) in Jacksonville, NC. Proceeds from this quilt raffle will support our donation quilts that we make for children, veterans and babies. Size: 92 x 100 Tickets are $5.00 each. Drawing for the winner will take place on October 17, 2024. Only 2000 tickets were printed so your chances of winning are great. Good Luck!
