QUILT SHOW RULES
  1. Each quilt entered must have an entry form completed and submitted by the April 14th deadline.  There are online and mail-in versions available.  Both versions are located in the dropdown menu to the left.  Registering online is the preferred method.
  2. A quilt is defined as having three layers; a top, batting, and backing, held together by stitching.  Items made from "cheater's" cloth may not be entered.
  3. ALL entries 40" and wider must have a finished four-inch (4") sleeve sewn to the top of the back of the quilt.
  4. ALL smaller quilts must have at least a 2-inch (2") sleeve sewn to the top of the back of the quilt.
  5. ALL QUILTS LONGER THAN 90 INCHES NEED TO HAVE A SLEEVE SEWN 90 INCHES FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE QUILT.
  6. ALL QUILTS MUST HAVE A SLEEVE AT THE TOP.  Quilts without sleeves can not be hung in the show
  7. Each entry must be delivered in a separate pillowcase or cloth bag.
  8. All entries must have an identification label with the person's name, address, and telephone number SEWN onto the lower left corner on the back side of the quilt (as you're looking at the back).
  9. In addition to your identification label, you will need to make two Entry Number labels.  One label will be for your quilt, and the other label will be for the pillowcase.  In late April or early May, you will be notified of your quilt's entry number.

               -  On the quilt label, clearly write just your quilt's assigned entry number.  Safety-pin this label over your quilt's
identification label that you have already sewn onto the quilt back.  You should not be able to see through the
outer quilt. label.  The outer label should completely cover the identification label that is stitched to your quilt.

               -  On the pillowcase label, clearly write the entry number at the top, with your name underneath.  Your address is
not necessary.  Safety-pin or sew the second entry number label at the CENTER of the pillowcase opening.

   10. CCQG members may submit up to three (3) entries per category.  Non-CCQG entrants may submit up to three (3)
entries to the show, with a fee of $10 per entry.  If you register online, you will pay your entry fee, when your turn in your
quilt in May.  If you mail in your registration, you have the option of including your fee or paying in May.

   11. CCQG reserves the right to change the category designation for an entry, if an incorrect category has been selected
by the entrant.  We will make every effort to notify entrants of necessary changes.
   12.
Items may be entered "For Exhibit Only" and should be entered in Category 14 on the Entry Form.  Exhibit Only entries
are not eligible for ribbons, except, possibly Viewers' Choice.
   13.
Items previously entered in CCQG judged shows may not be re-entered.
   14.
All decisions of the judge are final.
